Our first wines have arrived for Brunello DownUnder in May/June. All 2010 Brunello. We still have a few to arrive including Salicutti and Baricci.

We are excited to have so many wonderful producers for this event with up to 12 different labels of 2010 Brunello.

The Best of Brunello DownUnder 25 MAY 2015

Come & enjoy a truly Tuscan evening at Sydney’s favourite Italian restaurant, Popolo, for our next private wine dinner with Italian Wine Importers who are bringing to Australia two of Montalcino’s eminent Brunello producers – Le Chiuse & Querce Bettina. Montalcino, a small town in Tuscany is known for its Brunello di Montalcino wine.  The dinner will feature the famous 2010 Brunello vintage which has recently been called the “vintage of the century” by acclaimed wine writer James Suckling.  These wines are nearly sold out globally but you will have the opportunity to meet the winemakers & learn the art of making a good Brunello. The night includes the opportunity to taste older vintages - a 2007 Brunello & a 2006 Riserva Brunello di Montalcino (both great vintages) together with two Rosso di Montalcino from 2010 & 2012. The wines will also be sold on the evening with a Magnum of 2010 Brunello to be given away. We hope to see you there.
