Querce Bettina Rosso di Montalcino 2006 - Great wines of Italy

We conducted a tasting of the Querce Bettina Rosso di Montalcino 2006 recently. The wine surpassed all our expectations. It is just a wonderful balanced wine with many subtle flavours.

It has a ruby red colour with medium intensity so typical of the Sangiovese Grosso wines from the Montalcino DOCG area.

The nose has beautiful aromas of cherry with some floral touches.

It is a medium bodied wine with perfectly balanced acidity and silky tannins.

The only problem with this wine...and indeed it is a big problem...is that you can't stop drinking it.
